PM Vishwakarma Yojana Apply Online: প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদি 17 সেপ্টেম্বর বিশ্বকর্মা জয়ন্তী উপলক্ষে প্রধানমন্ত্রী বিশ্বকর্মা যোজনা উদ্বোধন করেন। এই প্রকল্পের রূপরেখা 2023-24 আর্থিক বছরের সাধারণ বাজেটে তৈরি করা হয়েছিল। প্রধানমন্ত্রী বিশ্বকর্মা যোজনা প্রায় 18টি বিভিন্ন পেশার কর্মীদের কাছে এর সুবিধাগুলি প্রসারিত করার জন্য ডিজাইন করা হয়েছে। প্রধানমন্ত্রী বিশ্বকর্মা যোজনা বাস্তবায়নের জন্য কেন্দ্রীয় সরকার প্রায় 13 হাজার কোটি টাকার বাজেট রেখেছে।

১) এই প্রকল্পে শুধুমাত্র কারিগর শিল্পীরা আবেদন করতে পারবেন।
২) আবেদন করার নুন্যতম বয়স ১৮ বছর।
৩) পরিবারের মধ্যে মাত্র ১ জন সদস্য এই প্রকল্পের সুবিধা পাবেন।
৪) পরিবারের কোনো সদস্য সরকারী চাকরি করেন তাহলে এই প্রকল্পের সুবিধা তিনি পাবেন না।
৫) যদি কোনো কারিগর শিল্পী রাজ্য সরকার কিংবা কেন্দ্র সরকারের কোনো প্রকল্প থেকে বর্তমানে লোন নিয়ে থাকেন, তাহলে তিনি এই প্রকল্পের জন্য আবেদন করতে পারবেন না।

Q. What is Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Scheme?
PM Vishwakarma is a Central Sector Scheme launched by Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises to provide holistic and end-to-end support to artisans and craftspeople through access to collateral free credit, skill training, modern tools, incentive for digital transactions and market linkage support.
Q. Who is the target beneficiary of the Scheme?
Artisans and craftspeople who are engaged in the 18 trades as mentioned in the Guidelines are eligible.
Q. Which category of trades are covered in the scheme?
Carpenter (Suthar), Boat Maker, Armourer, Blacksmith (Lohar), Hammer and Tool Kit Maker, Locksmith, Goldsmith (Sunar), Potter (Kumhaar), Sculptor (Moortikar)/ stone carver / Stone breaker, Cobbler (Charmkar)/ Shoesmith/ Footwear artisan, Mason (Raajmistri), Basket Maker/ Basket Waver: Mat maker/ Coir Weaver/ Broom maker, Doll & Toy Maker (Traditional), Barber (Naai), Garland Maker (Malakaar), Washerman (Dhobi), Tailor (Darzi) and Fishing Net Maker.
Q. What are the key components of PM Vishwakarma?
The key components of PM Vishwakarma Scheme are: Recognition: PM Vishwakarma Certificate and ID Card Skill Upgradation Toolkit Incentive Credit Support Incentive for Digital Transactions Marketing Support.
Q. What are the eligibility criteria of the Scheme?
An artisan or craftsperson working with hands and tools and engaged in one of the above family-based traditional trades, in unorganized sector on self-employment basis, shall be eligible for registration under PM Vishwakarma. The minimum age of the beneficiary should be 18 years on the date of registration. The beneficiary should be engaged in the trade concerned on the date of registration and should not have availed loans under similar credit-based schemes of Central Government or State Government for self-employment/ business development, e.g. PMEGP, PM SVANidhi, Mudra, in the past 5 years. The registration and benefits under the Scheme shall be restricted to one member of the family. For availing benefits under the Scheme, a ‘family’ is defined as consisting of the husband, wife and unmarried children. A person in government service and their family members shall not be eligible under the Scheme.
Q. How to avail benefits under the Scheme?
Any individual willing to avail the benefits of the Scheme, may register on the portal www.pmvishwakarma.gov.in.
Q. Which documents are required to be provided during registration on PM Vishwakarma portal?
The following is the list of documents or information to be provided by the beneficiaries: (i) Required documents or information: The beneficiaries need to produce documents like Aadhaar, mobile number, bank details, ration card mandatorily for the registration. (a) In case of a beneficiary not having a ration card, they would be required to produce Aadhaar cards of all family members (Para 4 of the guidelines on Eligibility may be referred to for definition of family). (b) If beneficiary does not have bank account, they will be first required to open a bank account for which handholding shall be done by the CSC. Additional documents or information: The beneficiaries may be required to provide additional documents or information as per the requirements prescribed by the MoMSME.
Q. Which lending institutions can provide credit under the Scheme?
Scheduled Commercial Banks, Regional Rural Banks, Small Finance Banks, Cooperative Banks, Non-Banking Finance Companies and Micro Finance Institutions are eligible to lend under this Scheme.
Q. What is the amount of initial loan under the scheme?
The initial collateral free ‘Enterprise Development Loan’ is up to Rs 1,00,000 for a tenure of 18 months.
Q. I already have availed first tranche of loan under PM Vishwakarma. When will I be eligible for second tranche of loan?
The second Loan Tranche of upto Rs. 2,00,000/- will be available to skilled beneficiaries who maintain a standard loan account and have adopted digital transactions in their business or have undergone Advanced Skill Training.
Q. Do I need to give any collateral to avail loan facility under this scheme?
No collateral security is required.
Q. What is the rate and amount of interest subvention in the scheme?
Concessional rate of interest chargeable from beneficiaries for loans will be fixed at 5%. The interest subvention by the Government of India will be to an extent of 8% and provided upfront to the banks.
Q. Whether all loans sanctioned and disbursed to beneficiaries under the Scheme are eligible for guarantee coverage?
Yes, the loans are eligible for guarantee coverage under the Scheme and the beneficiary is not required to pay any guarantee fee for the loans.
Q. Is there any penalty for repayment of loan before the scheduled date?
No prepayment penalty shall be charged from artisans and craftspeople after 6 months of loan disbursement.
Q. What kind of skill training is provided under the scheme?
The skilling intervention under PM Vishwakarma is aimed at enhancing the capabilities of traditional artisans and craftspeople, who have been working with hands or traditional tools for generations. This intervention consists of three components: Skill Verification, Basic Skilling and Advanced Skilling.
Q. What is the amount of stipend during the training period?
Rs 500 per day
Q. Can I receive the toolkits incentive without attending skill training programmes?
No, a toolkit incentive of upto Rs. 15,000 will be provided to the beneficiary after Skill Verification at the start of Basic Training.
Q. What is the amount of incentive for digital transactions?
An amount of Re. 1 per eligible digital transaction (upto a maximum of 100 eligible transaction) monthly will be credited to the beneficiary’s bank account in DBT mode through Aadhaar Enabled Payment System.
Q. What kind of marketing support is provided under the scheme?
Marketing Support in the form of quality certification, branding, advertising,publicity and other marketing activities would be extended to the beneficiaries to improve their linkage to value chain of MSMEs and established companies.
Q. Who all I can approach to get help regarding availing benefits under the scheme?

Q. Can a government employee apply for PM Vishwakarma?
No, neither a government employee, nor anyone in his family can apply for PM Vishwakarma
Q. What is the the definition of a family in PM Vishwakarma?
A family is defined as husband, wife and their unmarried children (minimum 18 years of age)
Q. How many members of a family can apply for PM Vishwakarma?
Only one member from a family can apply for PM Vishwakarma.
Q. Can a person who has availed PMEGP, PM SVanidhi or PM Mudra loan apply for PM Vishwakarma?
A person who has availed PMEGP loan cannot apply for PM Vishwakarma. A person having outstanding PM SVanidhi or Mudra loan also can’t apply. However, those who have repaid PM SVanidhi or Mudra loans can apply for PM Vishwakarma.
Q. Can a beneficiary of PM Vishwakarma apply for PMEGP?
Yes but only upon repayment of the loan taken under PM Vishwakarma, a person can avail PMEGP. It is the endeavour of the PM Vishwakarma to not only support our traditional artisans and craftspeople but also enable them to become employment generators utilising the PMEGP.
